As you well know, regular confession is very fruitful in the business of putting away sin and participating in the life of God. After about 3 years of confession I started to see this.
So, last year I started to become aware of these lies in my own habits. I find they have no place in anything I do. I used to do them to "soften" issues. Now I leave the softener out of the wash. It is painful but better for all.
