JDM's New Feed: "Jesus and Vocabulary"
This "Blog in my own eye" states that you won't find the word "Eucharist" spoken by Jesus in scripture.
Well, I don't have the Greek text in front of me but a quick search reveals that the word eucharist, meaning thanksgiving in Greek appears 55 times in the New Testament.
Other words noted in the "Jesus and Vocabulary" post are Greek and are very useful, even to me, and I'm not a bible scholar. For example, eschatology, a useful word. Sir Isaac Newton wrote more pages on this subject (i.e., eschatology) than on physics or calculus. I am sure Isaac liked the word. See The Newton Project.

I think his point is a useful one and is roughly this:
It's easy for Christians (me) to make a hobby of contemplating a bunch of complex issues that are interesting and perhaps important but are not central to the primary call and thereby avoid being imitators of Christ in the obvious and simple ways of "Go. Do. Sell. Give. Forgive. Teach. Baptize. Remember. Love. Serve. One."
What are those "Do" statements? -js
Off the top of my head, I can only think of the "did" and "did not do" in Matt 25:31-46
Then he took the bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body, which will be given for you; do this in memory of me."
