Looks to me as if conservatives are fat and liberals are thin.  But then we have a fat Michael Moore and a thin Bill O'Reilly, alternatively a fat Shawn Hannity and a thin Alan Combs.

I think it just a function of time spent expending nervous energy.  Conseratives are not nervous, liberals are nervous - relativism will do this to a liberal - eventually shorting their circuits. . .

In the case of BH and JS we subscribe to the wisdom of Linus Pauling, who said, "Satisfaction of one's curiosity is one of the greatest sources of happiness in life."

One such curiosity is from the wisdom of Pooh - "Does the honey in that jar taste the same?"

JS,

Your comment above is a classic!

Let's see if we can keep this thread going with more of Pooh's wisdom.

I was going to cheat and get Pooh's Little Instruction Book, but it isn't available on bookmooch.com

Proverbs 25:27

It is not good to eat too much honey, nor is it honorable to seek one's own honor.

Didn't someone in the Old Testament get executed for dipping into the honey too much?

See 1 Samuel 14 :

During a time of battle with the Philistines, King Saul bound his men under an oath

24 Now the men of Israel were in distress that day, because Saul had bound the people under an oath, saying, "Cursed be any man who eats food before evening comes, before I have avenged myself on my enemies!" So none of the troops tasted food.

Saul's son Jonathan didn't hear about what Saul had said, so he ate some honey that he found. The men told him about Saul's oath, but Jonathan said that Saul's oath was a foolish one.  Later on, God was giving Saul the silent treatment, so Saul decided to find out who had sinned.  It was revealed that Jonathan was the guilty party.  Saul was determined to kill him, but the men wouldn't let him.

more about honey:

Proverbs 25:16
If you find honey, eat just enough- too much of it, and you will vomit.

Proverbs 27:7
He who is full loathes honey, but to the hungry even what is bitter tastes sweet.
