Have you guys heard about the proposed coal-fired power plant in Midland?
Having watched this episode of Real Sports on HBO last year, coal-fired power plants don't give me postive thoughts, especially since my 4-year-old has respiratory issues and perhaps athsma.

news of yet another co2-emitting monster does not make me happy... but there's little we can do - it's a matter of federal policy. south saginaw and waldo is really close to the city, which makes me uneasy.
somewhat selfishly, i think most homes in midland are out of the emissions plume, with the prevailing winds sweeping the stuff towards saginaw.
Yup, 750 MW is not a small plant by any means. js
